Evan Boike Joins CRC as Regional Business Manager

Evan BoikeAustin, Minn. – Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to announce Evan Boike as its new regional business manager for its northern territory, where he will support existing member accounts and help drive new growth opportunities across CRC’s 25-state northern region.

Boike brings extensive experience serving rural electric cooperatives and a strong understanding of the utility industry. A former lineman, he has spent much of his career working alongside electric utility leaders and employees, giving him firsthand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

Boike attended Minnesota State University – Moorhead working on an undergrad degree in operations management. He left that to earn a Powerline technician degree from Minnesota West Community and Technical College at its Jackson, Minn., campus. He worked for Powerline as a contractor out of line school and then for Renville-Sibley Cooperative Power Association in Danube, Minn., where he completed the Dennis Merchant Journeyman Apprenticeship. Later he worked at Otter Tail Power in Fergus Falls, Minn., and Meeker Cooperative Light & Power in Litchfield, Minn., before taking on a utility account manager role for a manufacturer’s rep agency selling Powerline products through distribution.

“Throughout my career, I’ve seen the important role electric utilities play in their communities and the challenges they face every day,” Boike said. “CRC has built a strong reputation for supporting electric utilities with solutions that make a real difference. I’m excited to join an organization that shares my commitment to serving members, guiding relationships, and helping electric utilities meet the needs of their consumers both today and in the future.”

In his new role, Boike will serve as a trusted partner to CRC’s membership, helping them maximize the value of the company’s services while identifying new ways CRC can support their evolving needs.

“Evan’s background gives him a unique perspective on the electric utility industry,” said Dan Otteson, vice president, marketing & membership. “Having worked in the field as a lineman and in roles supporting cooperatives, he understands the importance of reliable service, strong relationships, and putting members first. We’re excited to welcome him to the team and know he will be a tremendous resource for our members.”
