As OMS technology advances, CRC continues to enhance the services available to its members. Through OMS integration, CRC offers a smart outage communication tool called dynamic greetings. This feature uses OMS predictions to tailor front-end greetings, providing caller-specific messages instead of a general cooperative-wide message.
For instance, if an outage affects part of a service territory, callers predicted to be impacted will hear a message specifically addressing their situation, while all other callers receive the cooperative’s standard incoming call message.
This same outage intelligence extends beyond the greeting and into the live call itself. CSRs have real-time visibility into whether a caller is associated with a predicted outage, allowing them to immediately tailor each interaction. This level of call intelligence enables representatives to quickly distinguish between isolated issues and broader events. By equipping CSRs with insight into predicted outages, each call becomes more informed and effective. When a caller is not associated with a known event, CSRs can dig deeper to uncover the root cause. When the caller is part of a predicted outage, representatives can confidently reassure them that the that the outage is already identified and being addressed.
