CRC Welcomes West Oregon Electric Cooperative to its Membership
Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to announce West Oregon Electric Cooperative in Vernonia, Oregon, recently joined its membership. West Oregon Electric Cooperative is a member-owned distribution cooperative serving over 3,600 members in five counties in northwestern Oregon.
CRC offers utilities across the country seamless contact center and alarm monitoring solutions, including call handling, line crew dispatch, AMI/CIS/OMS integration, CRCLink® outage communication software, and alarm monitoring. CRC also offers outage texting services and video monitoring of substations to its membership. From outage calls to billing calls, disconnects to emergency locates and more, CRC is there for its membership 24/7/365. By partnering with CRC, members find peace of mind as well as a cost-effective solution to their call handling needs.
Bob Perry, general manager of West Oregon Electric Cooperative said CRC was the first solution that came to mind when the organization was given 90 days to find a new after-hours call answering service. “Having worked with CRC in the past to establish service with another co-op, I knew who to call,” explained Perry. “It only took one call to Scott Dittrich, CRC’s regional business manager – western region, to get the ball rolling.
“We were faced with an accelerated window of opportunity to get this done before the cutoff date and CRC made it happen ahead of schedule,” he added. “The cutover was flawless and the onsite training was excellent. We’ve had a few small issues to iron out internally, but they were taken care of promptly and there have been no complaints from our members so far. I really appreciate the level of service CRC provides.”
Chris Holt, CRC’s president and CEO, is pleased CRC meets the needs of West Oregon Electric Cooperative and its members. “Our goal is always to make the cutover process to CRC as seamless as possible,” Holt said. “We’re happy to be of service to West Oregon Electric Cooperative and meet their call handling needs.”
