January 2020 Employee of the Month: Samantha Hinton
Way to go to Samantha Hinton, CSR 4 at CRC's Austin, Minnesota, office, for being named CRC’s January 2020 Employee of the Month! Hinton, who has worked for CRC for six years, was nominated in January for her quick actions by helping a suicidal caller who accidentally called one of our lineman check-in lines. Hinton not only gave the caller the number to a suicide hotline, she was able to locate where the caller was from and police were sent for a wellness check – all while mentoring a new dispatcher. In her efforts, Hinton demonstrated CRC’s values of communication and service excellence.
“We’re so grateful that the caller misdialed and reached Samantha in his time of need,” said Kerry Wylie, senior contact center manager at the Austin Center. “Thanks to Samantha’s quick thinking, the caller will hopefully receive the help he needs. Samantha’s quick response and dedication to her role is an outstanding example to others. Thanks, Samantha, for your great work.”
As the January 2020 Employee of the Month, Hinton will receive four hours of PTO or a CRC-logoed clothing item valued up to $50.
