CRC Partners with TextPower to Offer Outage Reporting Via Text Messaging
Austin, Minn. – Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC), a nationwide contact center and central station, is pleased to announce its business partnership with TextPower, Inc., a text messaging (SMS) business solutions provider based in San Juan Capistrano, California.
By utilizing TextPower’s SmartAlerts™ texting solution, CRC will enable its contact center membership, mostly utility companies, to offer their consumers the option to report power outages via text messaging. CRC will also use TextPower’s texting service to verify outage restoration through text messaging.
CRC will be launching this new service offering at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) TechAdvantage Expo in San Diego from Tuesday, March 6, to Thursday, March 8, by giving attendees the opportunity to try out CRC’s newest outage reporting solution.
