Head Line Hommerding CRC’s July 2016 Employee of the Month

CRC is pleased to announce that Lacy Hommerding, CSR 4 at the Austin Center, was selected as its July 2016 Employee of the Month. Lacy, who has worked for CRC for over six years, was nominated for her assistance with a unique power outage situation. While confirming the single outage, it was determined that the homeowner had been robbed and was out of town. Lacy made several calls and got law enforcement to the location, all while keeping the member calm and informed. Ultimately the power was up and running when the homeowner arrived at home at 1 a.m. The member relayed that Lacy responded faster than her alarm company and was very appreciative of Lacy’s help. In her efforts, Lacy demonstrated CRC’s values of service excellence, communication, teamwork, and member driven.

“Lacy’s actions not only reflected well on CRC, but also our member,” said Kerry Wylie, senior contact center manager at CRC’s Austin Center. “Thanks to Lacy’s efforts, the caller had peace of mind that she could count on her cooperative in a time of need. We appreciate Lacy’s help with this unique situation.”

In recognition of being a CRC Employee of the Month, Lacy will receive four hours of PTO. Lacy is also eligible for consideration for CRC’s 2016 Employee of the Year, which will be selected by CRC’s management team in late January 2017.
