CRC is an organization that operates as a cooperative.  A nine-member board of directors selected by the membership, oversees the leadership of CRC, determining pricing and philosophies, service, quality standards and growth on investments.

Membership in CRC entitles access to all its services and products, voting rights, and eligibility for patronage returns.

Under CRC's corporate bylaws, the following organizations are eligible and may choose to join CRC as either a member or associate member:

• Electric power cooperatives, electric member corporations, public power districts, public utility districts, and entities owned 50% or more by an electric cooperative or cooperatives are eligible to become members of CRC

All other entities may subscribe to CRC's services as an associate member.
