CRC Welcomes Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative to its Membership

Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to announce Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative in Cheney, Kansas, recently joined its membership. Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative is a member-owned distribution cooperative serving over 6,000 consumers in south-central Kansas.

CRC offers utilities across the country seamless contact center and alarm monitoring solutions, including call handling, line crew dispatch, AMI/CIS/OMS integration, CRCLink® outage communication software, and alarm monitoring. CRC also offers outage texting services, video monitoring of substations and is currently implementing a Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance solution which utilizes live agents for billing calls. From outage calls to billing calls, disconnects to emergency locates and more, CRC is there for its membership 24/7/365. By partnering with CRC, members find peace of mind as well as a cost-effective solution to their call handling needs.

Choosing to use CRC’s services was a natural fit for Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative and its membership thanks to CRC’s cooperative model and commitment to service excellence. “CRC’s cooperative, member-focused structure, national presence and top-notch reputation and experience of providing call support for electric cooperatives made them our choice for improving service and safety to our members,” said Dave Childers, general manager at Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative.

Chris Holt, CRC’s president and CEO, is pleased to have Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative join its membership. “We’re happy to fulfill the member service needs of the cooperative, its employees and its membership,” said Holt. “We look forward to our partnership and serving them for years to come.”
