CRC Welcomes Ouachita Electric Cooperative to its Membership

Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to announce Ouachita Electric Cooperative in Camden, Arkansas, has recently joined its membership. Ouachita Electric Cooperative is a not-for-profit, member-owned distribution cooperative serving nearly 9,500 consumers.

CRC offers utilities across the country seamless contact center and alarm monitoring solutions, including call handling, line crew dispatch, CRCLink® outage communication software, and alarm monitoring. CRC now also offers outage texting services and video monitoring of substations to its membership. Mark Cayce, general manager/CEO of Ouachita Electric Cooperative, says working with CRC has opened the door to more options for their members. “Joining CRC gave Ouachita Electric Cooperative the opportunity to improve the quality of our afterhours calls while at the same time offering additional services that previously were unavailable,” he explained. “Members can now inquire about their bill amounts and make payments.”

Convenience to their crews was another deciding factor to go with CRC. “Our service men are able to respond faster because they have better, more accurate information from the beginning,” Cayce said. “Having our outage management system operating 24/7 allows our members and supervisors to monitor the system from anywhere.
