C & L Electric Cooperative Corporation Joins CRC’s Membership

Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to announce C & L Electric Cooperative Corporation in Star City, Arkansas, recently joined its membership. C & L Electric Cooperative is a member-owned distribution cooperative serving over 21,000 consumers in eight counties in southern Arkansas.

CRC offers utilities across the country seamless contact center and alarm monitoring solutions, including call handling, line crew dispatch, AMI/CIS/OMS integration, CRCLink® outage communication software, and alarm monitoring. CRC also offers outage texting services and video monitoring of substations to its membership. From outage calls to billing calls, disconnects to emergency locates and more, CRC is there for its membership 24/7/365. By partnering with CRC, members find peace of mind as well as a cost-effective solution to their call handling needs.

Assistance with call handling and improving member satisfaction are some of the reasons C & L Electric Cooperative decided to use CRC’s services, said Christy Tucker, IT specialist at the cooperative. “Our cooperative is excited to have CRC help answer calls on ‘major’ outages,” she said.

“In a major outage, members attempting to contact us and getting busy signals had led to member frustration,” she explained. “Although we were doing all we could at the time, we decided to take customer satisfaction to the next level. By allowing CRC’s co-op trained staff to help in our time of need, our customers get the satisfaction of every call being answered and handled.”

Chris Holt, CRC’s president and CEO, is happy CRC can meet the needs of C & L Electric Cooperative. “Partnering with our membership to provide service excellence to consumers is a top priority at CRC,” said Holt. “We’re pleased to have C & L Electric Cooperative join our services and look forward to serving them for many years to come.”
