CRC Announces Results of 2015 Board of Directors Election
Austin, Minn. - Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) announces the results of its recent Board of Directors election following its 22nd annual membership meeting held Monday, June 8, in Chicago, Ill. Pre-meeting elections selected the directors to serve as part of CRC’s nine-member board.
Board members re-elected to three-year terms are Larry Fenbers, general manager/CEO of Carroll Electric Cooperative in Carrollton, Ohio, as a district 2 director; Kevin Murphy, president of Southwest Tennessee EMC in Brownsville, Tenn., as a district 3 director; and Jim Hathaway, general manager/CEO of Dunn Energy Cooperative in Menomonie, Wis., as an at-large (any district) director. Randy Crenshaw, general manager of Irwin EMC in Ocilla, Ga., and Middle Georgia EMC in Vienna, Ga., is new to CRC’s board and was elected as a district 3 director to a one-year term.
After the annual meeting, CRC’s Board of Directors met and selected the following officers to serve on its executive committee:
Chairwoman – Brenda Swartzlander, president and CEO of United Electric Cooperative in DuBois, Pa., leads a 19,000-consumer electric cooperative that operates in parts of 10 counties in northwestern Pennsylvania. Swartzlander has served as the board’s chairwoman since 2011.
Vice Chairman – Neil Hesse, general manager of Cooke County Electric Cooperative Association in Muenster, Texas, leads a 15,500-meter electric cooperative that operates in five counties in northeastern Texas. Hesse has served as board vice chair since 2014.
Secretary – Recently re-elected Fenbers leads a 12,100-consumer electric cooperative that operates in six eastern Ohio counties. Fenbers has served as board secretary since 2014.
Treasurer – Tim Stewart, CEO/general manager of Clark Electric Cooperative in Greenwood, Wis., leads an 8,500-consumer electric cooperative that operates in six counties in central Wisconsin. Stewart has served as board treasurer since 2011.
